Week 9 … Day 63 …1st Injections ?

Yesterday afternoon we took all the kittens for their first set of injections. We squeezed Maddison and the kittens into the carrier! They were all very well behaved both on the journey and at the vets ?

The vaccination protects against the diseases: feline viral infectious respiratory disease (also called cat flu), feline panleucopaenia (or enteritis) and feline leukaemia

Kittens should have their first set of vaccinations at nine weeks old and at three months old they should receive the second set to boost their immune system. After this, kittens and cats usually need ‘booster’ vaccinations every twelve months.
