All the kittens are weaning well 😽
How often do you see a cat smiling at you? Well for most cat owners the answer is ‘Never’!
But, if you adopt the Chartreux, you will come home to an adorable smiling face every day!
These cats have a broad and well-rounded head structure, with a round shape forehead. Their cheeks are full and they have powerful jaws with it.
Their doe eyes have a slight depression among them with a relatively straighter nose and have medium sized ears.
This unique structure of their head and face gave them an always mysteriously smiling facial appearance.
Yes, that’s the case, no matter your beautiful Chartreux is sad or furious with you they will always appear smiling.
You will just love seeing them smile all the time and will also help you feel positive in difficult times and handle those situations calmly.
It’s great to have a lovely companion who will always be there to cheer you up through their beautiful and adorable smile x
Unbelievably Maddison’s kitten are one month old!. It been stressful with the heat, so fans have been on continuously!!!
We have moved the kittens to a bigger secure area as they are now getting out of the box to explore 😸
The kittens are growing so quickly and are absolutely gorgeous. Thankfully the weather has finally cooled down, as we have had to have the fans on continuously.
If you didn’t know, kittens cannot control the temperature of their little bodies so they take on the temperature of their surroundings – too cold, safely warm or too hot. This is why it is critical to keep kittens safely warm at all times.

Kittens open their eyes about seven to ten days after birth. At first, the retina is poorly developed and vision is poor. Kittens cannot see as well as adult cats until about ten weeks after birth. Kittens develop very quickly from about two weeks of age until their seventh week. All kittens are born with blue eyes which change at approx 7 weeks, at this age the adult eye colour will begin to emerge.

Newborn and tiny kittens are so immature that it’s nearly impossible to tell their sex. Once they’re six or eight weeks old, however, their genitalia becomes more visually obvious.
- Female cats: When looking at a female cat’s genital area, the space just under her tail, it will look like an upside down exclamation point (!) with the long slit of the vaginal area below the anus. The anus and vagina are typically only about half an inch apart. In kittens, the anus and vagina may both look like dots, and they may be even closer together.
- Male cats: The male cat has a larger separation between the anus and the penis, with the testicles in the middle. Both of these openings look more like dots, circles, or a colon (:) than like slits or lines.
So (as always with the help of Gwen and FaceTime kittens bums!) we think we have 3 girls & 3 boys…although this is not set in stone!
Second weight in today and the kittens are thriving (see video below)…Maddison is such a good mummy 😻
